By the grace of our Good Lord, with a bit of luck, an overabundance of patience, and a degree of perserverence, our harvest was great. Amongst heavy winds, bitter cold and snow of Eastern Wisconsin, we brought back to the lodge a half dozen of the most breathtaking wild pheasants.
Prepared in the XL @PrimoCeramicGrills to tender, succulent perfection and plated atop a holiday brioche stuffing. This is undoubtedly the ultimate outdoorsman holiday centerpiece, curated literally from farm to fire and the fire to our table. Such a memorable experience at the Exclusive Hunting Club alongside my friend, legendary outdoorsman and trusted guide, Dave Sweet and the Head of LFR Events, Chef Andrew Turnipseed. Tune in as Chef David and team head back to the lodge to warm their bellies with a few glasses of among the finest bourbon in Earth and throw down the ultimate pheasant holiday feast over live fire. Enjoy!!

Thanks, brother! We work so hard on this episode. And, while the pheasant and studying recipes were money, best of had to be spending the day in the fields and at the lodge with great friends!!
Btw, we’re in final editing of a full episode on just the bourbon. Dave Sweet, founder of, Whiskey and Barrel Nite, is probably one of the most knowledgeable guys in the world as it relates to spirits. Can’t wait to share his insights and wisdom – the content on the tasting is really good!!
