Toasted Rosemary & Thyme Walnuts
-3 T Olive Oil
-2 T Ground Rosemary Leaves
-2 T Ground Thyme Leaves
-Coarse Sea Salt & Cracked Black Peppercorn, to Taste
Note: 1 Serving of Walnuts = 1oz or 1/4 Cup or ~14 Walnut Halves
METHOD to the MADNESS:
-Pre-Heat Oven to 350ºF.
-In Mixing Bowl, toss all ingredients together until Walnuts are liberally-coated.
-Spread Walnuts, in a single layer, over a Baking Sheet.
-Place in Oven for 8-10 Minutes, or until Golden Brown, stirring irregularly to ensure even Toasting.
-Note: Walnuts go from Golden Brown to REAL BURNT quickly. Keep close attention around the 10 Minute Mark.
-Remove from Oven from heat & place Roasted Walnuts Large Bowl lined with paper towel.
-Toss nuts gently for a few moments, season additionally (to taste) & allow to cool for a 3-5min.
